Year 3 and 4 Adventure to Bedgebury Pinetum

On a bright and sunny Monday, Year 3 and 4 set off on an exciting outdoor adventure to Bedgebury Pinetum.  The day was filled with discovery as pupils explored towering trees from all over the world and found out just how important they are as homes for insects and animals.
Along the way, the children became real-life explorers by creating their own story sticks - collecting leaves, pinecones, and natural treasures as they walked. These special sticks helped guide us back, just like ancient wayfinders used to do. It was a fun, hands-on way to learn about nature, navigation, and the amazing world of trees!
