Radnor House Prep Hits the Right Notes in the Studio
Eleven talented and passionate young musicians from the Prep School’s Songwriting Club stepped into the spotlight—literally—as they visited a professional recording studio to lay down the tracks they’ve been writing all year.
From the very first beat of term, these pupils have shown incredible dedication. Attending weekly Songwriting Club sessions, they’ve honed their craft—writing heartfelt lyrics, composing catchy melodies, and learning how to shape a song from the first idea to a finished piece.
The studio trip was a well-earned reward and an exciting step into the world of music production. With real microphones, mixing desks, and a skilled sound engineer guiding the way, the children had a chance to see what it takes to bring music to life behind the scenes.
It wasn’t just about recording—it was about celebrating creativity, teamwork, and musical growth. The students came away not only with an unforgettable experience, but also with a deeper appreciation for the artistry and technical skill behind every great song.
We can’t wait to share the final, polished tracks once mixing and mastering are complete. This experience has been a fantastic way to end the year, and we hope it inspires continued creativity and musical ambition in our pupils.
