Radnor House Sevenoaks A Level Results Reach New Heights with Third Year of Consecutive Growth
Sixth form students at Kent leading independent school, Radnor House Sevenoaks, celebrate A-level success today, with students securing fantastic first choice offers from UK and International universities, degree apprenticeships and prestigious colleges.
The school celebrates another year with a 100% pass rate, with 60% of grades in this year’s examinations between A*-B and more than 20% of the cohort scoring A*-A or better. A particularly great achievement is Alex W, who attained three A*, securing a place at Cambridge to study History.
Alex says: “I’m very pleased to say that I achieved A*A*A* and smashed Geography with 95%, the work definitely paid off! Thank you to Radnor for all of your support over the past two years”
The school are incredibly proud of all students, including:
- Alex W achieved A*A*A* and will study History at University of Cambridge.
- Yarl S achieved AAB and will study Law at Loughborough University
- Evan B has secured a Sports scholarship in the US, studying Sports Science
- Oscar O achieved AAB and will study Biomedical Science at University of Southampton
- Alina S received A*A* A and won a prestigious placement at Goldsmiths, University of London to study Fine Art
Alina joined Radnor House Sevenoaks in 2022 as a Ukrainian refugee when she left her home in Odesa following the outbreak of war. Joining in year 10, she had a very basic level of spoken English but went on to achieve high level 7s in English language and literature at GCSE and has gone on to do exceptionally well in Art.
Alina says: “Radnor House Sevenoaks gave me something else I had lost, a sense of belonging. It helped me discover my real strengths and offered me a place where I feel appreciated, supported, and heard. The values at Radnor - perseverance and courage - are very different from those I was used to in my old school in Ukraine, and they’ve shaped me in ways I couldn’t have predicted. Since arriving at Radnor, I've grown academically, emotionally, and personally. I’ve found direction and purpose, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.”
