Radnor Prep Pupil Makes West End Debut Alongside Olivier Award Winner Rosamund Pike

Radnor House Sevenoaks Prep pupil, Jack Grindley, is currently making his professional West End debut in Inter Alia at Wyndham’s Theatre, performing alongside Olivier Award-winning actress Rosamund Pike in the acclaimed National Theatre production.

Running from 19 March to 20 June, Inter Alia has transferred to the West End following a sold-out run at the National Theatre. Written by Suzie Miller, creator of the global phenomenon Prima Facie, and directed by Justin Martin, the production has received widespread critical acclaim for its powerful and thought-provoking storytelling.

Jack performs the role of Young Harry, sharing the part with two other young actors across the show’s eight performances each week. Having already completed 48 performances, with another 26 still to come, Jack has embraced the demanding schedule with professionalism and enthusiasm. Even when acting as standby, he still joins the final scene and curtain call, gaining invaluable experience of working in a professional theatre environment.

A passionate performer from a young age, Jack first fell in love with theatre after watching Wicked at the age of six and has attended drama lessons since he was four. At Radnor House, he has become a familiar face in school productions, most recently delighting audiences as Prince Charming in last year’s Prep production of Snow White.

Beyond performing on stage, Jack has loved learning about every aspect of theatre life, from stage management and sound engineering to hair, make-up and backstage production. His growing knowledge of theatrical “lingo” - including terms such as “sub stage” and “fly floor” reflects his genuine passion for the industry.

One particularly special moment came when Jack unexpectedly spotted several Radnor staff members waiting for him at the stage door after a performance. Seeing familiar faces from school made him immensely proud and highlighted the support of the wider Radnor community throughout his journey.

We are incredibly proud of Jack’s achievement and look forward to following his continued success both on and off the stage.
