A Level Results and Destinations

At Radnor House Sevenoaks, we are proud of our Sixth Form students' outstanding achievements, both academically and in their broader personal development.

This year, our Class of 2025 achieved a 100% pass rate, with 53% of all grades awarded at A-B* – our best results since the return to post-COVID grading. We are delighted that 95% of our students secured a place at either their first or insurance-choice university, and 76% are heading to their first-choice destination. Students will now go on to study a wide range of subjects at prestigious institutions in the UK and overseas, including Law, Engineering, Mathematics, International Business, Geography and more.

In key subjects such as Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Drama, Geography and Modern Languages, students continued to achieve excellent outcomes, reflecting the strength and breadth of teaching at Radnor House Sevenoaks.

This year's highlights include:

  • 100% pass rate across all subjects
  • 95% of students securing their firm or insurance-choice university place
  • 76% progressing to their first-choice destination
  • 53% of grades awarded at A*-B – a 20 percentage point improvement in just two years

Among the many individual successes, special congratulations go to Ivan L, who achieved straight A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics and will study Mathematics at the University of Bath. Other destinations include Law at City University, Mechanical Engineering at Exeter, Mathematics at the University of Toronto, Geography at UCL, and International Business Management at Newcastle University.

Headmaster, Mr. Paton, commented:

I am thrilled to celebrate the achievements of this year's Upper Sixth, with so many students securing their first-choice university placements. These results represent a second consecutive year of improving outcomes at every measure, meaning more students have been able to secure places at the most selective universities. A-level results day may mark the end of their school career, but it is not the end of learning – and we can’t wait to see what our students go on to accomplish next.
