Senior School (Ages 11-16)

At Radnor House Sevenoaks Senior School we provide all our pupils with the skills they need to succeed in their studies and co-curricular activities.

We expect and achieve academic excellence and this is accomplished through superb teaching in small classes. Pupils are well known, which allows for personalised learning plans and emphasis on challenge. Teachers ensure preparation for examinations is tailored and this guarantees excellent results.

We understand the importance of a wide curriculum which meets the requirements of a changing world; however, we do not forget the value of more traditional subjects. Pupils therefore, are offered subjects such as computer science and electronics alongside modern foreign languages, physics, chemistry and biology.

In addition, our pupils make use of our fantastic grounds. We have excellent sporting facilities including an indoor 25m swimming pool and fitness centre. Sport at Radnor House Sevenoaks is inclusive with boys and girls enjoying the opportunity to improve their physical fitness whilst supporting their House in a range of competitions. However, we also make allowances for those athletes who have rigorous training schedules enabling them to compete at a higher level.

Our aim is to provide our girls and boys with the skills they need to be successful when they leave us and join the outside world. Our pupils are confident and given regular opportunities to take on leadership roles. A high level of pastoral care ensures pupils feel supported and confident to take risks. There is a strong sense of community in the school with excellent relationships across the year groups formed. This, along with the relationships forged with teaching staff provides for a climate of high expectations and success.
