Radnor House Sevenoaks Students Celebrate Soaring GCSE Success
We are delighted to be celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results this summer - the strongest in our school’s history and a true reflection of our students’ ambition, perseverance and commitment to academic excellence.
This year we have seen many significant improvements across the board, compared with last year:
- Students achieved three times as many grade 9s as in 2023.
- We recorded a 33% increase in grades 7–9 (41%) and a 20% increase in grades 6–9 (63%).
- Our Triple Science students excelled; a third of all grades awarded at the very top level, grade 9.
- In Mathematics, half of our students achieved grade 7 or above, and nearly three quarters gained at least a grade 6.
Head, David Paton, said:
“These results are excellent and reflect yet another step forward in our journey of excellence. Our Year 11 pupils have achieved superb grades and we are immensely proud of both their individual successes, and their collective effort as a year group. As a growing school, we are fortunate to have an exceptional team of teachers who go above and beyond to ensure every student can fulfil their potential.
