Co-Curricular Clubs and Activities
A reminder to all parents that there are no Co-Curricular Clubs and Activities in the last week of term due to the seasonal festivities. In the Spring Term, the clubs will recommence on the first teaching day which is Tuesday 8 January. I'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to staff, parents and students for their contributions to our wonderful array of clubs for the Autumn term.
Mr T. Green - Assistant Head Co-Curricular
Performing Arts Timetables
The Performing Arts Timetables are available here. Please check regularly as times and occasionally days are subject to change. Timetables are also displayed on the notice boards in the Performing Arts Centre and outside the Prep School Music classroom. The peripatetic staff do their best to look for clashes with trips, fixtures and talks, but if any of your child's lessons are scheduled for the same time as events of this nature, please inform the relevant peripatetic teacher so that lessons can be rearranged in good time.
We'll Read Anywhere
To celebrate reading in the Prep School we would like to put together a display of photos showing all the wonderful places we can be found reading a book! Over the holidays we would like to encourage you to take a photo of yourself or your child (preferably both if you can) reading a book. The more unusual the location the better! You could read at the top of a mountain, beside a monument, or simply in your favourite chair. Any photos you take tweet them to @rh7prepenglish, or bring them into school when you return after the break. Have fun reading!
Please Donate Old Sewing Machines
Do you have an old sewing machine gathering dust at home or one that you would like to donate? The women Radnor supports in the slums of Kampala, Uganda via Project le Monde and TAPP desperately need sewing machines so that they can create goods to sell to provide for their families. Please bring any machines in to school by the end of term or during the first half of next term for the attention of Mrs Paton. During February Half-term we will be arranging shipment to Uganda. The TAPP stall at the Christmas Fair helped raise £164.50 or 779,318 Ugandan Shillings which will pay for 7 years’ school fees for a child in Uganda. Thank you for your ongoing support.
Macmillan Coffee Day
Thank you to everyone who helped make last Friday's coffee day such a lovely event and a great success. We raised £422 which is fantastic! Thank you.
Please find our lunch menu attached.
