Coaching Staff
Mr Tom Butt - Director of Sport
Tom is a passionate all-round sportsman and coach who has played and coached numerous sports at varying levels including: athletics, squash, badminton, rugby and tennis. His main specialisms however are hockey and cricket.
He played hockey at county level, and for South of England and English Universities as a junior and played over ten years of National League hockey for Canterbury HC and Havant HC. Tom is currently the 2nd XI player/coach for Sevenoaks HC who play in South East Premier League and is also the head coach for Sevenoaks HC’s U6/U7/U8s teams.
In cricket, Tom played for Chichester Priory Park in the Sussex Premier League and captained Petersfield men’s 1st XI in Hampshire Cricket League Division 1. More recently, he played for Mersham Sports CC and currently plays for Plaxtol CC. At one of his previous schools, he coached his cricket team to the National Cup semi-finals.
Tom has coaching and umpiring qualifications for Hockey (Level 3), basketball and ECB Cricket Coaching (Level 1).
Mrs Sara Blackman - Head of Prep School PE, Head of Cross Country & Athletics
Sara is a talented all rounder, who grew up playing football in local and district teams, and rugby in club, county and South East England squads.
She enjoyed notable athletics success in the javelin and has also competed to a high standard in trampolining.
Sara has coaching awards in rugby, tennis, hockey, trampolining and life saving.
Miss Anna Frizoni - Head of Senior School PE (Academic and Core PE)
Anna is a keen sportswoman and coach, who has represented Kent in Hockey and Football.
She has played National League hockey for a number of clubs including Sevenoaks HC and Bromley and Beckenham HC, where she has also coached the Ladies 2 in South East Women's Division 1 East.
Mr Craig Morton - Director of Hockey
Our hockey programme for boys and girls is led by Craig Morton, a former Scottish Junior International and current player for Sevenoaks HC's men's 1st XI in the National League.
Craig is one of the lead coaches at Sevenoaks HC Juniors Section (semi finalists of the England Hockey Cup), and Sevenoaks HC Ladies 3s, 4s and Acorns.

All are current or former National League players and have all led school hockey programmes.
Mr Osman Kamil - Director of Football
Our boys and girls football programme is led by Osman Kamil, a former professional academy player and a UEFA qualified coach.
Osman played for AFC Wimbledon until the age of 19 and then played semi-professional Football for a number of London Clubs. He also played National League Futsal for a number of years.
Other than football, Osman is also passionate about table tennis. He played at a national level as a junior player and has also coached a wide range of abilities, from beginner to National standard. As a coach, he has won the National Schools Championships on two occasions.
Mrs Susie Wilson-Rowe - Director of Cricket
Our rapidly growing cricket programme is led by Susie Wilson-Rowe, a former England International (23 international appearances between 2010-2013). Susie played county cricket for Surrey and Kent and recently retired as a professional cricketer for the South East Stars and London Spirit in The Hundred.
Susie has also played hockey to a high standard, having attended the University of Maryland in the USA on a hockey scholarship, winning three National Championships. She played junior international hockey for England and now plays National League hockey for Sevenoaks HC 1st XI.
Mr Simon Pickering - Director of Swimming
Our swim squads are led by Simon Pickering, an experienced coach of all levels of swimmers from County, Regional, National including Commonwealth Games, European and World Championships, Olympics and Paralympics.
Simon is a strong believer in technique and skills and fitness training such as sprinting, speed endurance and stamina are also aspects of training he focuses on. His coaching philosophy is simply to help every person become ‘successful’ at swimming, success being defined as achieving a level beyond their natural talent.
Mr Tom Green - Assistant Head Co-Curricular, Head of Rugby, Head of Basketball
A talented athlete and dedicated coach, Tom is a Level 2 RFU Rugby Coach who has played Rugby Union at club, county and regional level, going on to play for numerous clubs including Moseley, Newport and Vancouver. He is currently a coach at Tunbridge Wells RFC.
He also holds numerous coaching qualifications and expertise in Basketball, Athletics, Football, Swimming, Cricket and Hockey, leads the school ski trip and led other major sports tours to South America, Australia and New Zealand.
Tom runs our Senior Programme in Athletics and Cross Country. He has competed for the Midlands for Athletics (800 and 1500m) and Cross Country, as well as being a Regional finalist at swimming. Taking up Triathlon in 2002, he competed for Great Britain in the World Triathlon Championships in Queenstown, New Zealand in 2003.
Mrs Sue Hubble - Head of Netball, Head of Tennis
Sue has formerly competed in Swimming, Netball and Tennis and county level, and Lacrosse at regional level.
She is a qualified swimming coach, sychro swimming coach and LTA Tennis coach as well as a GCSE PE moderator for Edexcel.

Mr Jake Fuller - Graduate Sports Assistant
Jake has competed in the FA Youth Cup and now is a qualified level 2 coach. He has also completed a university degree in football coaching and now applies this at Sevenoaks Town where he coaches the Under 14’s.
Jake is an all-rounded sportsperson who also has a passion for adventurous outdoor activities such as mountaineering.
Mr Thomas Brocklehurst - Graduate Sports Assistant
Thomas is a former South African junior hockey player who has been selected for both the U16 and U17 South African squad as a goalkeeper.
He is currently playing for Sevenoaks Hockey Club predominately for the 2nd XI whilst gaining multiple opportunities in the 1st XI.
Thomas is also a lead coach at Sevenoaks Hockey Club and has hockey and goalkeeping-specific coaching qualifications. His main aim is to build confidence and get the best performance out of those he coaches.
