Rugby is played as part of the PE and Games curriculum during the Spring term. There are also Rugby Clubs taking place as part of the co-curricular programme.
Rugby is increasingly important at Radnor House Sevenoaks and very much in tune with the school’s values of courage, perseverance and respect. It is currently the major game played by boys aged 8-18 in the spring term. In the prep school, rugby will still be played as one of the main games with regular fixtures during the winter months.
Radnor House Sevenoaks plays a variety of Rugby fixtures against both Prep and Independent schools within the local area and is developing it's Rugby reputation. Both Home and Away matches are played during games afternoons.
From September 2020, Rugby will be available to senior school boys to train and play fixtures as part of the senior school's excellent co-curriculum programme. Weekly training and fixtures will take place through both the autumn and spring terms. In the spring term, the main focus will be on rugby 7s. The rugby programme is led by Mr Tom Green who is an RFU level 2 qualified and highly experienced coach. He is supported by a fellow level 2 qualified coach and experienced teacher Mr Ed Kemp. Rugby is played on the Sundridge recreational ground.
