Current Vacancies

  • Peripatetic Woodwind Specialist Teacher

    We are currently seeking a specialist woodwind teacher from September 2022 capable of delivering high-quality individual lessons in flute, clarinet and saxophone to pupils across the age-range and abilities at Radnor House.    

    The successful applicant will join a committed team of ten full and part time musicians dedicated to supporting our young musicians from the ages of 6-18 and will be qualified to teach from beginner to advanced level on all three instruments.  

     The role also includes teaching flute and clarinet in small groups to students in Year 7 as part of their music curriculum.  There are additional opportunities to run ensembles and other music activities throughout the school for an enthusiastic practitioner.  Applications with keyboard skills will be particularly welcome.  

     The successful applicant would work on a self-employed basis earning £20 per half hour for private lessons and £25 per half hour for group lessons.  We currently expect the successful candidate to be needed on a Tuesday teaching over 30 academic weeks each year, though this may fluctuate.   

    The closing date for applications will be Wednesday 22nd June with interviews being held on the week of the 27th June 2022 however we reserve the right to interview candidates and appoint before the closing date therefore early applications are recommended.

  • Peripatetic EAL Support Tutor - immediate start

    Radnor House Sevenoaks has an exciting opportunity for an EAL Support Tutor to join the team on a Peripatetic basis.  The successful candidate will support our pupils with learning needs associated with EAL and design and deliver one-to-one support for children across our Prep and Senior school.  

    The ideal candidate will be qualified in teaching English as an additional language, holding a CELTA or TEFL qualification or equivalent and demonstrate experience of working as an EAL tutor. For more information about the responsibilities and skills required please read the Job Description below.

    The closing date for applications will be Sunday 19th June 2022 with interviews being held on Thursday 23rd June 2022 however we reserve the right to interview candidates and appoint before the closing date therefore early applications are recommended.

  • Nursery Assistants required September 2022

    The school wishes to appoint Nursery Assistants to join our thriving Pre School to assist in the provision of a high standard of care for children placed in the Pre School.  We have one full-time role (although we would consider this as a job-share between 2 people) and one part-time role (working Thursdays and Fridays).  The hours for both roles are 8.20am to 5.30pm term time only.

    Candidates must have NVQ Level 2 or 3 EYFS relevant and Paediatric First Aid (although First Aid Training can be provided).

  • School Minibus Driver

    We are looking for a motivated and friendly Minibus Drivers to work as part of the Transport Team to provide transport for our pupils in the mornings, evenings and sports fixtures from November 2021. We may consider a job-share arrangement for the right candidates.

    A full D1 licence is required. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 8.30am and 4.00pm to 6.00pm plus additional flexi-hours per week as required to cover school trips and sports fixtures. Early applications are recommended as we will interview as soon as possible.
