  • French Language Assistant required Sept 2022

    We are seeking to appoint a French Language Assistant to join our thriving Modern Languages Faculty from September 2022.  The role is for 16 hours per week working over 4 days and pays £12.00 per hour.

    The role provides an excellent opportunity for someone considering a career in teaching. The successful candidate will be a native-level French speaker with a keen interest in promoting French language and culture.  The French Language Assistant will work with individual pupils and groups, preparing them for their oral exams and supporting them in their language studies.  Applicants must be educated to degree level and demonstrate a keen interest in working with young learners. Some teaching experience is desirable but not essential. Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular programme of the school is essential.

  • Full-time KS1-KS3 French Teacher (KS3 Spanish desirable) from 19th April 2022

    We are looking to employ a full-time MFL Teacher to join our staff from 19th April 2022 to Teach French from KS1-KS3 and ideally Spanish in KS3.

    Previous teaching experience in KS1 and KS2 would be an advantage but not essential.  The role would include teaching a range of ages and abilities in both Prep and Senior School (French from KS1 to KS3) and Spanish in KS3. The ability to teach Spanish is an advantage but not essential.   This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take a leading role in the teaching of French in the Prep school.

  • Peripatetic Piano Teacher - Required from 19th April 2022

    We are currently seeking a specialist piano teacher capable of delivering high-quality individual lessons to pupils across the age-range and abilities at Radnor House.    

     The successful applicant will join a committed team of ten full and part time musicians dedicated to supporting our young musicians from the ages of 6-18 and will be qualified to teach from beginner to advanced level.  

     The successful applicant would work on a self-employed basis earning £20 per half hour for private lessons.  We currently require someone to work on a Wednesday teaching over 30 academic weeks each year, though this may fluctuate.

  • Part-time Teaching Assistant for KS1 and KS1 required from 19th April 2022

    We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis from 19th April 2022.  The role will initially be in Year 2 but this may change in subsequent years. The suitable candidate, under the direction of a classroom teacher or line manager, would provide support and assist teachers in the development and education of the children in our school.  They would be required to undertake teaching and non-teaching tasks related to classroom activities and provide basic supervision and care skills.

    The successful candidate would ideally have a Teaching Assistant qualification, NVQ 3 or equivalent but we are happy to accept applications from candidates who are educated to degree level and have relevant experience of working with children.

    Working 8.00am until 4.00pm, Wednesdays to Fridays Term Time only.

  • Graduate Sports Assistant - required Sept 2022

    An exciting position is offered to join the sports team at Radnor House Sevenoaks as a Graduate Sports Assistant on a fixed-term contract from 1st September 2022 until 7th July 2023.  The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, term time only, the exact work pattern will be agreed at interview.

    The post is suitable for a person who is a talented and passionate all-round sportsperson who wishes to develop their coaching or become a PE teacher. The successful candidate will ideally possess high skill levels and knowledge in at least two of the following sports: swimming, football, hockey, or cricket. Knowledge and experience in netball, rugby, basketball, athletics or strength and conditioning could also be advantageous or as an alternative to one of our focus sports. Holding lifeguarding qualifications, experience of coaching, and working with young athletes would be desirable.

    The closing date for applications is midday on Friday 28th January 2022 with interviews taking place the week of the 7th February.  Please note the school may, at its discretion, interview suitable applicants and appoint before the deadline.

  • School Minibus Driver

    We are looking for a motivated and friendly Minibus Drivers to work as part of the Transport Team to provide transport for our pupils in the mornings, evenings and sports fixtures from November 2021. We may consider a job-share arrangement for the right candidates.

    A full D1 licence is required. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 8.30am and 4.00pm to 6.00pm plus additional flexi-hours per week as required to cover school trips and sports fixtures. Early applications are recommended as we will interview as soon as possible.
