  • Groundsperson

    Role: Groundsperson

    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 17.00pm

    Start date: Mid November 2023

    The school wishes to appoint a Groundsperson to support the Grounds Manger in the maintenance, conservation, and enhancement of the school grounds, working collaboratively with colleagues as part of a professional team.

    Qualifications:

    • NVQ in Turf Management, Horitculture or similar is desirable
    • Chainsaw licence and a PA1 PA6 spraying certification is desirable
    • A minimum in grade 4 in Maths and English is essential

    Are you a teacher who passionately believes in the limitless potential of children and the critical role adults play in this journey of self-realisation?

    Due to increasing pupil numbers, Radnor House Sevenoaks is seeking to employ such an individual to teach Art and Design on a one-year mat cover, full-time basis, from February 2024.  Applications from NQT’s would be welcomed.  The successful applicant would also need to have experience in teaching 2D, 3D, Photography and Textiles.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, who is used to working in a busy public-facing environment to join us as an Afternoon Receptionist in our Senior School.

    The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and IT skills and be able to work independently and under pressure. Previous experience of working as a receptionist or in an administrative based role would be ideal.

  • Compliance Officer

    Radnor House Sevenoaks is seeking to employ a Compliance Officer to work closely with the Head, Group Finance and Operations Director and Business Manager.

    You will have responsibility for ensuring that we are up to date with regulatory compliance required by schools and that we meet and observe a wide variety of guidelines and regulations set by both government agencies and the Independent Schools Inspectorate. You will have responsibility for updating policies and procedures for Safeguarding, Child Protection, Health and Safety, Welfare, Safer Recruitment and Data Protection. The Compliance Officer will also undertake statutory and routine compliance servicing across the school site.

    The successful candidate will ideally have regulatory compliance knowledge/experience in schools, experience of auditing/working in a regulatory environment and a good knowledge of Health and Safety and Data Protection.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who is a team player, personable and can communicate effectively with people at all levels. The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills and confidence with the use of ICT.

    We are looking to appoint an experienced CIPD qualified HR Manager for a period of 12 months, to play a key role in developing all aspects of HR within our school.  You must have experience in a similar role and the ability to drive and deliver a high quality, professional and efficient HR service.  We are looking for a self-starter, with drive and energy, who can lead the department and manage a busy and varied workload.

    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, CIPD qualified minimum level 5, preferably level 7, an operational HR background in a senior role, outstanding computer literacy and highly competent in the knowledge of databases and reporting.

    The school wishes to appoint a Nursery Assistant/After School Supervisor to join our thriving Pre School to assist in the provision of a high standard of care for children in a way that meets their physical, social, emotional, intellectual and developmental needs. In addition, you will have responsibility for creating a safe and happy environment for after school care, supervising play and providing a range of age appropriate activities, games and crafts in which children may participate.

    We are looking for a caring, fun-loving, team player who enjoys working with young people. You will need to be reliable, enthusiastic, adaptable, discreet and tolerant. You should have good organisation and communication skills and be willing to undergo necessary training e.g. First Aid, Food Hygiene, Child Protection, Fire Safety.

    Candidates must have:
