Football is one of Radnor House’s focus sports from ages 8-18 for both boys and girls.
The football programme will be led by our newly appointed Director of Football Chirs Smith from September 2020 who will be ably supported by the highly experience sports department. Chris is a talented all-round sportsman who played professional football at an early age and is an outstanding football coach. Football training and matches are played at the Sundridge recreational ground.
Football fixtures and training will be played predominantly by boys in the autumn term and by girls in the spring term. However, the school will also run a pre-season programme for all of its focus team games in the preceding term which enables pupils to develop their skills and knowledge of the game in preparation for the season ahead. This also allows for less experienced or novice players a chance to learn the basics and reach a level of confidence to be able to play in fixtures come the start of the season.
