Co-Curricular Clubs and Activities- Summer 2020
There is clearly huge uncertainty about when the school will return in the summer, however, to ensure we are prepared for this eventuality, the Co-Curricular sign up will continue as normal, so please read on. I hope you will join me in thanking the Radnor House staff, both internal and external, for providing such a breadth and depth of clubs this term.
Please find attached here the list of Co-Curricular Clubs and Activities for the Summer Term. Please be aware, this information is correct at the current time, although may be subject to some minor change over the coming days and prior to the return in the Summer Term.
On Tuesday 24 March, the SOCS sign up will open at 6pm and it will close again at 6pm on Sunday 29 March. During the sign up window, pupils can be added or removed from clubs or activities, which will include Expeditions, Radnor House Swim School, Wrap Care and the Sevenoaks and Orpington Shuttlebuses. After the sign up window has closed, pupils may still be added to clubs, but cannot be removed (unless requested).
Please can I ask that parents do not sign their child up to any clubs without their agreed consent. It is vital that they select clubs that they wish to attend. In addition, pupils must understand that attendance at a club they have signed up for is compulsory.
Please can parents and pupils try their SOCS login before they sign up to ensure that it is working and their are no login issues.
A reminder of the process in order to login to SOCS Co-Curricular:
Please follow the link here. The login page asks you for the name of the school, make sure you click on Radnor House Sevenoaks (not Twickenham), followed by your username, which is your son/ daughters school email address, eg. email@example.com Your generic password is rhsclubs
Once you have logged in, I would advise that you alter your password, via 'Settings' and write it down to remember it. It is also important to note that if a club is listed as FULL for the term, you should email firstname.lastname@example.org to request to be placed on the waiting list. Your child will be given a place for the following term. It is also worth noting that if a club is very under-subscribed, it may not run. In the event of this occurring, the pupils and parents will be informed.
Pupils who are currently participating in a paid club will be automatically enrolled for the Summer Term, however, if they no longer wish to participate in the club, they can be removed during the sign up window. Pupils who are currently on a waiting list for a club that they missed out on in the Spring Term will be automatically placed in the club for the Summer Term, however, if they have had a change of heart, they should remove themselves from the club during the sign-up window.
Lastly, a reminder that there are no clubs or activities in the final week of the Summer term. Wrap Care will continue right throughout the week with the exception of the final day of term. Obviously the start date of clubs for the Summer Term is uncertain at present, but will be communicated by the Admin Team prior to this. KWDA Cancellation of event:
Due to recent events we have sadly taken the decision to postpone our event due to be held on Tuesday 17 March, 'How to work collaboratively with your child's school following a dyslexic diagnosis'.
Touch Typing Easter Courses:
Details of Easter courses in Tunbridge Wells can be found here. School courses are still running on Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons at a charge of £12 per session. Please contact Susie Pepper on firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

Parents' Association - FoRH7
We are sorry, but due to the covid 19 situation, we have had to cancel our quiz and curry night this Saturday.
Under these exceptional circumstances we will be able to offer a refund to all ticket holders and we politely request that you email email@example.com by Friday 27 March if you would like an electronic refund.
Most ticket holders have told us they would like to donate their ticket value to the charities. If you would also like to do so, we are sure that the charities would greatly appreciate it. If we have not heard from you by Friday 27 March this will be assumed to be the case. The monies left in by ticket purchasers will be split evenly amongst the four charities.
