Parental Survey - Please Complete

Over the next fortnight, we will be gathering feedback from pupils, parents and staff using Kirkland Rowell Surveys, an experienced schools survey expert.  The responses we collate are used to plan the ongoing development of the school and are, as such, highly valued and we would be extremely grateful to hear your views.  To complete the survey, please follow this link and enter the password RHSS963108 using copy and paste.  The survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete and the information you provide will be very useful to the continued improvement of the school.

Year 12 Careers and University Applications

Performing Arts Timetables

The Performing Arts Timetables are available  here.  Please check regularly as times and occasionally days are subject to change.  Timetables are also displayed on the notice boards in the Performing Arts Centre and outside the Prep School Music classroom.  The peripatetic staff do their best to look for clashes with trips, fixtures and talks, but if any of your child's lessons are scheduled for the same time as events of this nature, please inform the relevant peripatetic teacher so that lessons can be rearranged in good time.

Oracy Day and Festival - Tuesday 18 June and Wednesday 19 June

We will be holding our second annual Oracy Day on Tuesday 18 June. All pupils in the Senior School will take part in various activities throughout the day devoted to oracy.

On the evening of Wednesday 19 June, selected pupils will show off their oracy skills at our Oracy Festival in front of parents and pupils. Please do save the date!

Parent Fitness Classes

Radnor House Charity Triathlon - Saturday 14 September 2019

This September, Radnor House Sevenoaks will host its inaugural Charity Triathlon.  It is an all age, all ability event with no experience necessary or expected.

We hope that all pupils will enter the event and that family members will come along to support and take part.  All pupils will receive house points and adults will have points given to their chosen house.  A cup will be awarded to the house who have the most points after the event.

The entrance fee for pupils is £10 which will go towards the running costs for the day.  In addition there is an expectation for pupils to raise a minimum of £15 sponsorship money which will go towards their house charity.  Sponsorship forms will be available from the Senior and Prep Offices.  The adult entrance fee is £30 with no sponsorship required, however any donations to the charities will be very welcome.

The event is designed to be accessible to all, appropriately challenging and competitive for those who wish to make it so.  Junior distances range from 10-100m swim, 200m-2.2km cycle (grass) and 100m-1.2km run.  The adult race comprises a 150m swim, 8km cycle (road) and 2 km run.

RadnorFest - Saturday 29 June 11am to 5pm

RadnorFest - Raffle Tickets

Over the next few days, your child/ren will return from school with raffle tickets for you to purchase.  These are in books of 5 and are £1 per ticket or £5 per book.  Please, could we request that you return the raffle tickets with your payment in the envelope provided (ensuring you keep the bigger part of the ticket) to the box which is outside the Prep School Office and marked 'RADNOR FEST RAFFLE TICKETS'.  Please could we further request that if you do not wish to purchase all (or indeed any) of the raffle tickets that you return these in the envelope to the box also.  The deadline for returning the tickets is Wednesday 27 June.  Many thanks for your support.

Summer Touch Typing Courses

If you struggle to get along to the two school TTRS Typing sessions then you may want to learn during the summer holidays. Short, intensive courses are available to learn this most useful life skill.

Baseball Caps and Water Bottles

With warmer weather forecast, we strongly advise all the children have water on them to keep hydrated. The younger children should also wear a cap when playing outside.

Both the caps and Radnor House Sevenoaks water bottles are for sale in the cafe. Prep reception are selling the water bottles too. They are sturdy, 750ml plastic bottles with either a red or black flip-top lid for ease of use and cleaning,  priced at just £7. Baseball caps come in 2 sizes, priced at £5.50

Pets on the school grounds

Please be reminded that pets and animals (except for guide dogs) are strictly forbidden inside the premises during term time.  Dogs, for example, must remain with their owners outside the immediate school grounds at all times and under full control by means of a suitable lead or restraint.
