Year 7 and 8 Timetable - Monday 24 June - Friday 28 June
Please find here the planned timetable for the Year 7 and 8 pupils remaining at school next week. The plan is for pupils in the Lower School years to have combined lessons, but with differentiated work.
The timetable provides a balanced curriculum across most subject areas, including PE and Games.
Registration each morning at 8.20am will take place in the STEM building with Mrs Taylor and Mr Barlow.

Induction Days - Current Year 11
Please find attached a letter from Mr David Leddington regarding the current Year 11 Induction Days on Tuesday 2 July and Wednesday 3 July.
Performing Arts Timetables
The Performing Arts Timetables are available here. Please check regularly as times and occasionally days are subject to change. Timetables are also displayed on the notice boards in the Performing Arts Centre and outside the Prep School Music classroom. The peripatetic staff do their best to look for clashes with trips, fixtures and talks, but if any of your child's lessons are scheduled for the same time as events of this nature, please inform the relevant peripatetic teacher so that lessons can be rearranged in good time.
We very much hope that you will be able to join us for lunch on this occasion. Our Catering Team will be serving a seafood and a vegetarian paella with salad and flatbreads for a charge of £5 per head. To ensure we have catered for you, please could you click on this link to order.
LAMDA Examinations Tuesday 2 July
Please find the times for students LAMDA Examinations on Tuesday 2 July. These times cannot be changed or we will incur a £50 fee. Can you please check the timetable attached and note the times. Pupils should arrive outside the Prep hall with all props and copies of scripts 20 minutes before their exam time.
Europa Project Club for Years 8, 9 and 10
Please see the attached letter regarding an exciting project the MFL Department are organising with two schools in Spain and one in France. This opportunity is available for students in years 8, 9 and 10 starting in September 2019. Year 11 students who are really interested in taking part can also apply.
Co-Curricular Clubs and Activities-2019-20
Please be aware that in next week's Bulletin, the clubs and activities for Autumn 2019 will be published for your perusal. This will include times, year groups, prices, locations and club leaders. There will also be an explanation of the clubs and what they will entail. The SOCS Co-Curricular sign up for Autumn will open on Monday 1 July at 7pm and close on Sunday 7 July at 6pm.
Parent Car Park
We have been advised by parents that cars are being parked in the disabled spaces but no blue badges are not being displayed. Please, may we respectfully request that if you are not a blue badge holder that you do not park in these spaces which are valuable to parents or carers or visitors who do have a disability? Thank you for your help and understanding.
Lost Property Prep and Senior Schools
Please be advised that Miss Longhurst and Mr Jack did lay out items of unnamed lost property on Thursday but most of these were collected during the day. All named items that were found were returned to their rightful owners. There will be another Lost Property collection opportunity before the end of term. Date to be confirmed.
