Sixth Form Trip to New York

Forty Sixth Form students enjoyed a wonderful trip to New York during the half term break. They experienced the opportunity to visit some key cultural, historical and recognisable sites which included the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the 9/11 memorial site, Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, Times Square, the Tenement Museum and a Broadway showing of Chicago. This was just the first day! Over the next few days they also went to the Museum of Modern Art, Central Park, the Top of the Rock, the Empire State building and 5th Avenue. All the students were incredibly well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed the chance to explore one of the world’s major cities. We are looking forward to the next Sixth Form trip which is likely to be to Rome in the next academic year.
