Congratulations to Mia in Year 12 on receiving the award of Highly Commended in the Northeastern University London Essay Competition. In the letter accompanying her certificate it said "The judges were impressed with your thinking and research. Your essay clearly demonstrates academic ability and potential to study successfully at a higher level."

The international competition is for Year 12 students across the world who are interested in Humanities and Social Sciences. Mia drew on some of her research from her psychology A' level studies.
