An outstanding first week of remote teaching and learning at Radnor House Sevenoaks.

It is safe to say that this is not how anybody expected this term to end, but the attitudes and hard work in this challenging time has surpassed all expectations.
With last Thursday and Friday's successful practice run of remote learning, we hit the ground running on Monday with assemblies, full timetable of lessons, extra curricular activities and tutor time.
Microsoft Teams, OneNote and Tapestry has allowed our school to go from the physical, to the virtual realm and through the tracking it has enabled teachers to provide contact support and feedback. All pupil's have been displaying high levels of perseverance and courage and online respect throughout the week, resulting in excellence all round.
Parents, pupils and teachers have had to become increasingly innovative with the space around them- turning play areas into work stations, gardens into sports fields and bedrooms into swimming pools. All demonstrating how resilient and creative our school community is!
Despite a great deal of uncertainty, our GCSE and A Level students continue to study incredibly hard and produce brilliant work, which we are very proud of, exemplified by this amazing artwork produced by an A Level student.
Our Prep School have made a series of videos in support of our school community with important messages...
The first video was sent to our students showed our attitude to the current situation- the 'Show must go on', which it most certainly did!
Secondly, although we are all in our sepearate houses working and learning, we are still all in this together...
From everyone at Radnor House, we wish you a wonderful Easter Break and hope to see you at our Easter camp!
