A virtual residential week, incredible fundraising efforts and competition success, we are so proud of our school!

Continued progression with the new AstroTurf, impressive fundraising efforts, an alternative residential and so much more!

We have seen even more progression to our AstroTurf pitch which is super exciting. It is really starting to take shape and we look forward to being able to use it in no time!

We have been incredibly lucky to be able to welcome back Year 10 and Year 12 to the Senior school as well having Years 3 and 4 back in the Prep School. It has yet again been heart warming to see so many smiles and so much excitement from the pupils who are coming back to school for the first time since lockdown began.

In efforts to raise money for our house charities Foal Farm, West Kent Mind, Bradbourne RDA and Leonard Cheshire, Senior school pupils have taken part in a MasterChef competition in which they were sponsored to cook their family a 3 course meal. They all looked absolutely delicious and the judges were desperate to try some themselves!

Meanwhile, the pupils in the Prep School raised money by creating funky hair do's.  We saw dyed hair, hair in the shape of cupcakes, mohawks, and hair going in every direction imaginable.

Year 1 had a wonderful Fairy tale day making their own fairy tale castles and settings, a boat for Prince Eric, magic potions and dressing up.

Despite not being able to go on their end of school residential owed to coronavirus precautions, Year 6 pupils had a week of 'PGL' style activities for the whole week. From drama and team building activities to archery, hiking to water fights, the pupils had a great deal of fun.

As the Year 6's prepare to move on to Senior School, Year 5's took part in the Senior prefect and head of house elections by submitting their applications and doing a speech. Everyone who took part showed outstanding courage and resilience.

Year 8 pupil Pippa won an outstanding award- Young Fashion Designer UK for the second year running...an unprecedented title. Pippa chose the decade of the 20's as part of the theme 'Decade of Design'. Pippa not only drew the designs and created a mood board based on the 20's, but also made them- well done Pippa.

We wish everyone an enjoyable last week of term next week!
