The Edwards Family | Our First Ten Years | Radnor House Sevenoaks | Private School in Kent

“It has been a privilege to watch both our daughter, and the school grow over 10 years”

The Edwards Family at Radnor House Sevenoaks

The Edwards have been part of Radnor House Sevenoaks since joining the nursery in 2016, making their daughter one of the longest-standing pupils in the school community.

From nursery through Prep and now into Senior School, her journey has been shaped by both strong academic foundations and exceptional pastoral care.

“Throughout her time at Radnor, we’ve been consistently impressed by the high academic standards and the level of care and support provided.”

Over the past decade, the family has also seen the school itself evolve:

“The facilities and resources available to pupils now are some of the best in the area, and we know first-hand how much the children benefit from them.”

While there have been changes along the way, the impact of inspiring teachers - past and present - remains central to their experience:

“Our daughter still has such fond memories of the original Prep team, who helped lay the foundations for her future.”

Just as important are the friendships formed:

“These are friendships built on trust and care, and they will stay with her for years to come. She always looks forward to seeing her friends every day.”

The family particularly values the seamless transitions between each stage of the school:

“Moving from nursery to Prep and then into Senior School has felt completely natural, with staff ensuring pupils are well prepared at every step.”

They also highlight the balance Radnor strikes between academic challenge and wellbeing, with the result being their daughter developing into a confident and motivated learner:

“The teaching is excellent - staff stretch pupils intellectually while also recognising individual strengths and offering the right support.
She has a real enthusiasm for her studies and approaches learning with confidence and resilience.”

Looking back on the past decade, the family reflects:

“It has been a privilege to watch the school grow and flourish over 10 years, and we’re excited to see how it continues to develop in the future.”
