Radnor House Sevenoaks is seeking to appoint a passionate and inspirational Teacher of Religion, Philosophy and Ethics to teach across the Senior School at Key Stages 3 to 5.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire pupils to explore religious, philosophical and ethical questions through engaging and thought-provoking lessons. The successful candidate will help pupils develop strong subject knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills, while encouraging respectful engagement with a range of perspectives.
You will be joining a supportive school community and will contribute to the continuing development of an ambitious and engaging curriculum. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute positively to the pastoral and wider life of the School.
Essential requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status, an appropriate equivalent qualification or relevant experience
- A degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy or a closely related discipline
- Strong subject knowledge across Religion, Philosophy and Ethics
- Ability to teach effectively across Key Stages 3 to 5
- Ability to engage, challenge and motivate pupils across a broad range of ages and abilities
- Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, pastoral care and safeguarding
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the School
- Experience of teaching GCSE Religious Studies and Religious Studies or Philosophy at A Level would be an advantage.

This is a permanent role, available on a full-time or part-time basis, starting in January 2027.
