Lead Hockey at Radnor House Sevenoaks
Radnor House Sevenoaks is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and ambitious Head of Hockey to lead and develop our Hockey Programme.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hockey coach or teacher to play a key role within our thriving Sports Department. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of a structured, inclusive and progressive hockey programme across all year groups, while inspiring pupils to develop their skills, confidence and enjoyment of sport.
As Head of Hockey, you will be responsible for the overall development and coordination of hockey across the School, including coaching, fixtures, player development and programme leadership. The role also includes teaching within the Sports Department and contributing positively to the wider life of the School.
Essential requirements:
- Strong hockey coaching or teaching background
- Strong technical and tactical understanding of hockey
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate young people
- Commitment to high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the School through sport and co-curricular activities
Desirable requirements:
- England Hockey coaching qualifications
- Experience coaching school-age players
- Experience coordinating fixtures or sports programmes within a school environment
- Multi-sport coaching experience
- First Aid qualification and/or minibus licence, or willingness to undertake training

The role includes regular attendance at after-school training sessions, fixtures, tournaments, weekend events and occasional tours as required by the Hockey Programme.
