The Purpose of the Role

Radnor House Sevenoaks is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners in a nurturing and dynamic environment where every child is encouraged to 
thrive.

About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to support the learning and development of children in our Early Years Foundation Stage. You’ll help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive setting where children feel happy, 
confident and ready to explore the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Supporting children’s learning through play and planned activities
  • Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping with personal care routines where needed
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes 
    for pupils

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  •  A genuine passion for working with young children
  • Experience in an EYFS setting (school or nursery) is desirable
  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare or education
  • A warm, patient and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
