We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Spanish Language Assistant to join our thriving Modern Languages Faculty. This part-time position, consisting of 10 hours per week, involves supporting students at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-level in their Spanish language learning journey.
The role provides an excellent opportunity for someone considering a career in teaching. The successful candidate will be a native-level Spanish speaker with a keen interest in promoting Spanish language and culture. The Spanish Language Assistant will work with individual pupils and groups, preparing them for their oral exams and supporting them in their language studies. Applicants must be educated to degree level and demonstrate a keen interest in working with young learner
Key Responsibilities:
- To deliver the appropriate curriculum as outlined by your subject leader
- To provide oral support and tuition to pupils in the languages you speak
- To deliver extra-curricular support to the department where necessary

Skills and Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level
- Fluency in Spanish (native level), with strong oral and written communication skills
- Previous experience working with students of different ages and abilities is desirable
- Passion for teaching and language learning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to educational excellence and student progress
- Keen interest in working with young learners
- Clear understanding of, and a desire to achieve, excellence in all areas of academic activity, within and outside the timetable
