Sport plays a huge part in the life of all pupils at Radnor House Sevenoaks. Radnor House Sevenoaks sport gives pupils the opportunity to express themselves physically whilst also providing camaraderie, leadership and teamwork opportunities.

Pupils are encouraged to take ownership of their sports teams, taking control of technical and tactical decision making. Sport is widely celebrated throughout Radnor House Sevenoaks from individual successes outside of school, to team events within. We inspire all pupils, regardless of ability, to participate in sport and represent the school.

Our sports programme is designed around our core sports offering levelled teams. Our more junior year groups train as a whole and as pupils progress through the school, they can be split into ‘Competitive’ and ‘Recreational’ groups. The differentiation between groups allows all to strive to achieve excellence, as well as enjoying the practical lessons they are participating in.

Everyone enjoys winning and we celebrate success whenever it is achieved, but we believe that success should not always be measured by results. Progress, enjoyment and participation are our primary indicators for success. We believe in healthy competition and fixtures that can be won by either team. Pupils will learn much more from a tight match than to win comfortably, thus building character.
