The Purpose of the Role
To be responsible to the Head of the Prep School for the day-to-day management of Years 3-6. To provide leadership to staff and pupils, playing a significant role in the review and development of all matters pertaining to the relevant year groups particularly in the areas of pupil progress, behaviour, guidance and support.
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree (essential)
- Key Stage 2 class teaching experience (essential)
- Subject Coordinator experience (essential)
- A Masters degree or relevant qualification in school leadership (desirable)
- Experience of working in independent schools (desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal skills (essential)
- The ability to drive school improvement initiatives (essential)
- Client care skills (essential)
- A background in playing and/or coaching sports (desirable)
