Radnor Swim Team

The Radnor Swimming Team Summer Term programme will run from Monday 20 April and will finish on Friday 3 July (there will be no swimming during half term week 25-29 May).

In conjunction with Swim England we follow the Stages 1-7 badge pathway and Speed Swimming Badges (details of which can be found on the noticeboard in the entrance to the Sports Hall).   We already have over 40 swimmers learning and training with us which is a testament to our experienced teachers.

The lesson days and times as follows:

Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 16:00-18:00

Lessons are 30 minutes for learners with more experienced swimmers having 40-45 minutes to allow time to cover diving, tumble turns and more advantaged techniques.

Wednesday 20:00-21:00

Adults training for fitness, triathlons and masters.

If you would like to join in our swimming lessons please contact radnorswimming@radnor-sevenoaks.org

Easter Fair

The Easter Fair is fast approaching and in order for all of the houses to be able to support their charities and make as much money as possible, we would really appreciate the following donations:

Nightingale: We are looking for donations of 'lucky dip' gifts.  This may include any form of stationery, books, bouncy balls, small soft toys, yoyos, sticker packs or any small toy/gift that would be appropriate for Prep children in a lucky dip box.

Churchill: We are looking for donations of jam jars filled with stationery (pencils, pens, highlighters, rubbers, sharpeners, post its, note pads, pencils etc).

Newton: We are looking for donations of clean jam jars with small toys and prizes to go in them such as stickers, yoyos, bouncy balls, small soft toys.  As well as any larger soft toys that could be used as prizes for our Limbo competition winners.

Pankhurst: We are looking for donations of small prizes such as stationary (rubbers/pencils), small toys (bouncy balls etc) and anything else you might think of.

Please put all donations in the yellow basket outside the prep office by Monday 16 March.

As well as this, all of the houses will be selling homemade cupcakes with their house colour icing on top.  To keep in line with our risk of allergies, we would appreciate that all cupcakes are made using the recipe here.

Chicken Pox

Please may we ask parents to be vigilant as a we have been advised of an incident of Chicken Pox in Prep School.  A reminder that if you believe your child/ren have Chicken Pox you'll need to stay away from school/nursery until the spots have crusted over.  This is usually 5 days after the spots first appeared.  If you are unsure of treatment, consult your GP or pharmacist and for further information please click here for the NHS link.
