The Purpose of the Role
Radnor House Sevenoaks is an independent co-educational day school for pupils aged 11–18, set within a beautiful 20 acre campus on the edge of Sevenoaks. We are an ambitious and forward thinking school with a strong academic ethos, excellent pastoral care and a rich co curricular programme.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Teacher of Art and Design to join our successful Art Department on a maternity cover basis. The post may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on the candidate’s preference.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across a range of disciplines (e.g. fine art, 3D work, photography, textiles).
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development.
- Monitor and support pupil progress and achievement.
- Support exhibitions, displays and co-curricular Art activities.
- Take an active role in the wider life of the School
