Important Information for all GCSE and A Level Pupils and their Parents
Summer 2020 Exams Contingency Day is Wednesday 24 June. The summer 2020 exams may seem like a long way off at the moment, but we wish to share some important information with you to avoid any possible issues next summer. During the Spring Term pupils will be given their individual exam timetables which will highlight when their final exam will take place. The summer written exam period will run from Monday 11 May to Tuesday 23 June 2020. For the Summer 2020 exams a “contingency” exam day has been arranged by the examination board in the event of widespread, sustained national or local disruption to examinations during the June 2020 examination series. The contingency day is Wednesday 24 June 2020. All exam candidates must be available to sit exams from the date of their first exam until Wednesday 24 June 2020. This decision is not a school decision and does apply to all candidates in all schools. Information for pupils about internal and public exams, can be found on the school website here.
