Memorial for Beth Ingram-Cordrey

It is wonderful to see that so many of you have signed up to attend Beth's Memorial and we look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 14 March at 2.30pm in the Senior School Hall and afterwards for light refreshments in the Dining Room.  The afternoon will be a celebration of Beth's life and we would request that you wear colour for the event and pupils should wear their full school uniform including their Blazer.

If you haven't yet signed up to attend, please do so by completing this form and submitting it before 5 pm on Monday 9 March.

My School Portal

Please see attached guidelines and links for easy set up for you to use My School Portal on your phone/laptop/desktop etc.  If you have any queries whatsoever regarding My School Portal, please email Louise Lay (llay@radnor-sevenoaks.org) who will be pleased to help.

World Book Day

We've had a fantastic week of celebrating books and stories around World Book Day.  Rob Lloyd Jones told us of his journey from Ninja to Egyptologist to Author on Tuesday and gave some brilliant writing tips to Year 6 and 8 in his workshops.  The Book Door Competition has brightened up the whole school and created a buzz about the books we love - thank you to everyone who took part.

Radnor Swim Team

The Radnor Swimming Team Summer Term programme will run from Monday 20 April and will finish on Friday 3 July (there will be no swimming during half term week 25-29 May).

In conjunction with Swim England we follow the Stages 1-7 badge pathway and Speed Swimming Badges (details of which can be found on the noticeboard in the entrance to the Sports Hall).   We already have over 40 swimmers learning and training with us which is a testament to our experienced teachers.

The lesson days and times are as follows:

Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 16:00-18:00

Lessons are 30 minutes for learners with more experienced swimmers having 40-45 minutes to allow time to cover diving, tumble turns and more advanced techniques.

Wednesday 20:00-21:00

Adults training for fitness, triathlons and masters.

If you would like to join in our swimming lessons please contact radnorswimming@radnor-sevenoaks.org

3rd Annual Radnor House Golf Day - Sunday 14 June 2020

There are still places left for this year's Charity Golf Day on Sunday 14 June 2020.  This year's event will take place at Farleigh Golf Club in Warlingham, and our chosen charity is MacMillan Cancer Support - a charity close to our hearts in the Prep School.

We are inviting as many people as possible to attend, so if you are not a golfer, you will be still more than welcome to attend the dinner and raffle prize draw afterwards.  Hopefully this will encourage families and friends to all come together to support this fantastic cause.  We can cater for 104 golfers and an extra 46 for dinner afterwards.

If you are interested in being a part of the day, please can you fill out the feasibility form attached here.  There is no obligation to take part once you have completed this form, but it is important for me to gain an idea on initial numbers.

Letters officially inviting those who have signed up to take part will be sent out in the next two weeks.  This will include information on how to pay for your participation.  If you have signed up via the link above, this makes it easier to send this information to you.  Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Mr Woodward (awoodward@radnor-sevenoaks.org).
