Class Photographs 2019

Please be advised that Class Photographs will be taken on the morning of 21 June.  If your child does not normally attend school for their Nursery or Transition sessions on a Friday, it would be great if you would be able to bring them to school for 8:45am and wait in the cafe whilst their photographs are being taken.  Please, could all children arrive wearing their school uniform and with neatly brushed hair.

Reception to Year 6 pupils should arrive at school with neatly brushed hair and wearing full summer uniform including their blazer. 

Performing Arts Timetables

The Performing Arts Timetables are available  here.  Please check regularly as times and occasionally days are subject to change.  Timetables are also displayed on the notice boards in the Performing Arts Centre and outside the Prep School Music classroom.  The peripatetic staff do their best to look for clashes with trips, fixtures and talks, but if any of your child's lessons are scheduled for the same time as events of this nature, please inform the relevant peripatetic teacher so that lessons can be rearranged in good time.

Year 1 Parents - Junk Modelling

Please could you bring in any 'Junk Modelling' products such as drink bottles, bottle caps or toilet rolls.  We will be creating our own boats and seeing which materials float and which are waterproof.  Please could these be in by Monday 24 June.

1F Class Assembly

We would like to invite all Year 1 Parents to an assembly on Thursday 27 June at 8.40am.  It would be lovely to see all of you there, as we share all that we have learnt this year.

Year 1 - Interactive Fairytale Drama Workshop

Year 1 Stringbabies Concert

All Year 1 Parents are warmly invited to join Year 1 for their Stringbabies presentation on Thursday 20 June at 2.30 pm in the Senior School Hall.  This will be an opportunity for you to hear the children play, learn a little more about the teaching method and meet Mrs Jones, who leads the Stringbabies programme, and Mr Isom. 

Year 2 Trip to Bexhill Museum – Action Required

As part of Year 2’s Victorian Seaside topic, the class will be visiting Bexhill Museum on Wednesday 19 June.  If you have not already consented to your child attending the trip, please do so via the link in the attached letter.

Year 5 and 6 PGL Residential Trip

The Year 5 and Year 6 Residential Trip to PGL Merchants Hill Surrey is fast approaching!  The kit list for the trip can be found here.  Please ensure you have completed and returned a medical form for your child – copies of the form are available from the prep office.

Message from Mrs Platt

The Year 3, Year 4 and Friday Dance Company have been learning a dance for RadnorFest, which is on Saturday 29 June.  It is not compulsory for your child to dance, but if they would like to please can they meet Mrs Platt by the performance area on the field at 2.50pm.  We will be performing between 3-3.30pm.  Pupils will need to provide their own costumes of bright coloured t-shirts/tops with plan leggings/shorts/ trousers and festival style make-up, if allowed!  Any queries please contact Mrs Platt -

ABRSM Music Exams, Friday 21 June 2019

This term we have a very large entry, and the examiner will be coming to Radnor House on Friday 21 June.  All parents should already have received their exam times and the timetable is attached.  Parents are welcome to collect pupils from Prep and bring them to the Performing Arts Centre 15 minutes before the exam.  Please let Mrs Gemma Fishwick know at if you are doing this.  Otherwise we will collect them and ensure that they are ready for their exam.

Lost Property - Thursday 20 June 2019

Over the half term break, we have collected all of the lost property found around the school.  On Thursday 20 June all items named and unnamed will be laid out in the Foyer of the Sports Hall and we would invite you (and/or your child/ren) to seek out any lost items between 8 and 8.45 and again at 3.30 until 4.15pm.

Any items which are unnamed and not claimed will be sent to the school uniform shop to be sold.  Any unnamed non-uniform items will be sent to a charity shop.

Prep School Sports Day - Monday 1 July

Please see the attached letter from Ms Ingram-Cordrey regarding the Prep School Sports Day arrangements.

May Bank Holiday 2020

Please be advised that May Bank Holiday 2020 is to take place on Friday 8 May and not Monday 4 May.  The change has been made to coincide with the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.

Car Park Drop off Zones

We would respectfully like to remind all parents/carers that the Drop Off Zones are for drop off in the morning and pick up only in the afternoons.  At no time should vehicles be parked in these or the zig zag areas.  This is for the safety of the children and should be adhered to at all times.
