Visit Us

The best way to experience the magic of our Radnor House Nursery is to come and see us for yourself on one of our private tours or at our Open Day. During your visit, our Head of Pre Prep, Ms Green or Head of Prep, Ms Lang will show you around the superb facilities and discuss your individual requirements, answering any questions you may have about joining us.

Register

Children may join Nursery from their 2nd birthday, at any point in the term. It is never too early to apply and we recommend early registration as places are limited and this is one of the key points of entry to the school. Following your visit, should you be considering Radnor House Nursery for your child, you should complete the online Registration Form and pay the £100 registration fee.

Taster

You and your child will be invited for a personalised taster session in the term before they are due to join, with places formally offered shortly after this. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to familiarise yourself with the Nursery setting and get to know our wonderful staff.

Offer

Following a successful taster day, we try to offer within a week. Once an offer has been made, a completed acceptance form and £1500 deposit will be required to accept a place and this will be refunded when your child leaves the school.

Getting Ready

Shortly before joining Radnor House Nursery, we’ll send you an information pack with everything you’ll need to know and we’ll ask questions about your child so that we know all about their likes and dislikes, routine, family life and personal development. We’ll also ask you to confirm your weekly sessions, put you in touch with other Nursery parents and discuss the start of term and settling in arrangements.

It is really important to us that our children and their parents settle quickly into Nursery life and we do everything we can to ensure it’s a smooth process. We send daily updates via Tapestry for every child so parents have an idea of how they have spent the day and so that you quickly feel a part of our very special Nursery.

Our main entry points into the Prep school are Reception and Year 4 but places are occasionally available in other year groups so it is worth enquiring. It is never too early to apply and we recommend early registration as places are limited. Following your visit, should you be considering Radnor House Prep for your child, you should complete the online Registration Form and pay the £100 registration fee.

We offer an optional staggered start to the academic year in September for Reception so that children can settle in at their own pace. There are a number of new joiner events for parents that ensure your whole family feels a part of our wonderful school.

Our main entry points into the Senior School are Year 7 and Year 9 but places are occasionally available in other year groups so it is worth enquiring. We offer deferred entry into Year 9 for pupils in Year 6 and Year 7, to give you peace of mind. It is never too early to apply and we recommend early registration as places are limited. Following your visit, should you be considering Radnor House for your child, you should complete the online registration form and pay the £100 registration fee.

Assess

Following registration, your child will be invited for an assessment with places formally offered shortly after this. The assessment is a CAT4 test, creative writing piece and an interview. We have a fantastic scholarship programme and your child may choose to apply for a scholarship.

The best way to experience the very special atmosphere of Radnor House Sixth Form is to come and see us for yourself on one of our private tours or our Open Day. Every November we host a Sixth Form Information Evening where you will hear from our Head of Sixth Form and some of our current students and talk to the subject Leads about our A level curriculum.

Following a successful interview, we will contact your existing school and request recent reports and predicted GCSE grades. Our offer will be conditional on GCSE results. Once an offer has been made, a completed acceptance form and £1500 deposit will be required to accept a place and this will be refunded when you leave the school.

Shortly before joining Radnor House Sixth Form, we’ll send you an information pack with everything you’ll need to know and invite you to events at the end of the Summer Term before joining including ‘Moving Up Day’. There is also a Sixth Form induction day shortly before the start of Year 12.
