    School Lockdown Drill

A requirement of all institutions, we will be running our first lockdown drill during the week beginning Monday 25 March. Pupils across the school will receive guidance about what to do, through assemblies taking place next week.

As this is a new drill, and different from the fire drill which we run at least every term, we will be giving the pupils more information in order to help them to remain calm throughout.

    Science Week - 'Journeys' Mini-Project

This week has been British Science Week which this year is based around the idea of ‘Journeys’ to celebrate 25 years of the Eurotunnel.  To celebrate, I would love children to get involved by creating their own mini-project around journeys which was introduced to them in assembly this week.  The project can be presented in any format from posters to songs, models to baking, and the theme can be interpreted in anyway for example journey to space, through the body, life cycles, nature trails, how journeys are made, animal migration, famous scientists...the possibilities are almost endless.  Entries should make their way to Miss McNeely in 6M by Friday 22 March. Prizes will be awarded for Best in Upper Prep, Lower Prep and overall. If you have any questions or entries please email  Happy Science Week!
