A Message from Ms Cordrey
I would like to sincerely thank parents and pupils for their support through this difficult time. The messages, gifts and comments are truly appreciated, particularly the array of food this past week. I cannot thank you enough; it gives me strength and lifts my spirits.

Visit from the Book Bus Thursday 13 June
We are very excited to announce that on the Thursday 13 June the Book Bus will be visiting Radnor House. This is part of our continuing push to promote literacy and reading as well as providing an opportunity to stock up on books before the summer holidays! Classes will have a chance to board the bus in groups and discover a new read and buy a book or books there and then. Prices begin from around £3.00. After school, parents and carers can have a look and purchase any books they would like as well. More information will be given out closer to the time.
Performing Arts Timetables
The Performing Arts Timetables are available here. Please check regularly as times and occasionally days are subject to change. Timetables are also displayed on the notice boards in the Performing Arts Centre and outside the Prep School Music classroom. The peripatetic staff do their best to look for clashes with trips, fixtures and talks, but if any of your child's lessons are scheduled for the same time as events of this nature, please inform the relevant peripatetic teacher so that lessons can be rearranged in good time.
Please note there have been some significant changes to timetables after half term to accommodate trips and exams. Please check, especially, Speech and Drama.
Please be aware that as the weather becomes milder the risk of ticks increases. There is a risk of Lymes Disease and other infections from the bites so it is important to check and seek medical advice if a tick bite is found or suspected. There is various advice online, but please find attached a government advice leaflet for you to refer to. It is important for pupils to check or be checked after playing in long grass. This should not be a reason to avoid spending time outdoors, but it is important to be aware and to respond appropriately. With this in mind, please ensure all pupils bring long trousers for Forest School and Adventurous Outdoor Education Lessons.
Radnor House Charity Triathlon - Saturday 14 September 2019
We invite you to join our inaugural Radnor House Sevenoaks Charity Triathlon this September. This event is open to both parents and pupils. The Steel race has been specifically designed with our younger pupils in mind; with distances starting at 10m swim, 200m cycle and 100m run. All children aged four and over are encouraged to take part and plenty of staff will be available to support your child on the day. Please see the attached letter for more information, and to register your place.
RadnorFest - Saturday 29 June 11am to 5pm
Come along to our Summer Festival at Radnor House Sevenoaks. Don't miss the family event of the summer, with BBQ, live music and (hopefully) sunshine. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Please click here to book tickets.
RadnorFest - Raffle Tickets
Over the next few days, your child/ren will return from school with raffle tickets for you to purchase. These are in books of 5 and are £1 per ticket or £5 per book. Please, could we request that you return the raffle tickets with your payment in the envelope provided (ensuring you keep the bigger part of the ticket) to the box which is outside the Prep School Office and marked 'RADNOR FEST RAFFLE TICKETS'. Please could we further request that if you do not wish to purchase all (or indeed any) of the raffle tickets that you return these in the envelope to the box also. The deadline for returning the tickets is Wednesday 27 June. Many thanks for your support.
Parent Fitness Classes
We are pleased to announce that parent fitness classes will be running every Monday morning, beginning Monday 13 May at the time of 8.15am-9.00am. Each class costs £4, paid in bulk for the term which would total £28. Please enrol for the classes by paying the £28 to paypal.me/progressfitness .
