Swimming is taught to all Prep pupils throughout the year. Senior pupils have swimming lessons from year 7 to 10, with optional lessons for year 11 and the Sixth Form during Autumn Term 2 and Spring Term 1.
Swimming is a significant sport for Radnor House. We have recently recruited Cassie Patten as our Director of Swimming. Cassie is an Olympic Bronze medallist, double world Silver medallist, European Cup champion and Swimming World Cup winner and was the lead swimming pundit for Sky Sports News at the London Olympics in 2012. Her vision is to establish an elite swim academy for the older children.
With one of the best 25m school pools in Kent we are fortunate to have a wonderful facility and we are keen to ensure we maximise its potential to provide the very best opportunities to our students.
We are delighted to announce that in September 2017 Radnor House Sevenoaks and Aqualife Swimming are joining forces to offer a range of exceptional swimming lessons and coaching to pupils and families at Radnor House. These lessons will support the school-based provision already in place and the team will be working closely with new Director of Swimming, Cassie Patten, to ensure children have every opportunity for future success in the sport.
