U9 and U11 Football Tournament

Radnor House-Sevenoaks U9s and U11s took part in the Sevenoaks School 5 aside football tournament on Friday 22nd September.

Both age groups were to play in a round robin tournament, competing against some of the top Prep schools in the area.

The U9s won 2 games out of 5 against Solefields School and Russell House, Jack Duffy and Caolan Campbell scoring the goals in both games and Thiago Speroni an inspiration in goal.

The boys also drew 0-0 with a talented Yardley Court team, William Van Niekerk starring in goal. Despite losses against Holmwood House and St Michaels,

an excellent goal was scored by Robbie Paton in the former game.

Perhaps the highlight of the day was Jack Duffy winning U9 Player of the Tournament, an outstanding achievement!

The squad consisted of Jack Duffy, Thiago Speroni, Caelan Campbell, George Baker, Max Miller, Drew Cordrey, William Van Niekerk and Robbie Paton.

The U11s also won 2 games out of 5 against Solefields School and Russell House, Ivan Leone and Emerson Ellis playing with confidence and  inspiration in front of goal.

The boys played well in their first competitive fixture of the year. Despite losses to Holmwood House, St Michaels and Yardley Court the boy’s took great pleasure in participating in this well organised Tournament.
