Radnor House is committed to delivering high academic standards and educational excellence. We are delighted with this year's results.
Our students' A level results for 2017 have exceeded our expectations. A huge congratulations to all our Sixth Formers. 70% achieved A*-B with everyone (100%) gaining entry to 1st choice university. Some of our students are even considering adjustment upwards because their grades exceeded their original offers by so much.
The GCSE results this year are also particularly pleasing. For the students to produce grades of this quality is a testament to their hard work and the dedication of the teaching staff, not to mention the patience and understanding of parents.
Like many schools, we have been transitioning to the new style A level and GCSE courses. Pupils are increasingly being graded on a 1-9 basis at age 16 and virtually all of the A level courses are now two year terminal qualifications, meaning that all modules and many elements of coursework have been replaced with a final exam at the end of Upper Sixth. Please see the 2017 results in the downloads box opposite. The results are by subject along with cumulative percentages where appropriate. Radnor House does not release these results for comparison purposes outside of the school community so our results will not appear in national league tables.
"The students should be rightly proud of their achievements and I am delighted that the hard work of our outstanding teaching staff has been reflected in these superb grades." David Paton, Head
