Radnor House is committed to delivering high academic standards and educational excellence. We are delighted with this year's results.
We would like to offer huge congratulations to all our Sixth Formers, with all students gaining their university place, achieving a number of impressive results in the process.
The GCSE results this year are also particularly pleasing, achieving a 100% pass rate, beating the national average for pupils achieving Grade 9 and improving our previous achievement of Grade 9-6 (A*-B). For the students to produce grades of this quality is a testament to their hard work and the dedication of the teaching staff, not to mention the patience and understanding of parents.
Like many schools, we have been transitioning to the new style A level and GCSE courses. Almost all students are graded on a 9-1 basis at age 16 and virtually all of the A level courses are now two year terminal qualifications, meaning that all modules and many elements of coursework have been replaced with a final exam at the end of Upper Sixth.
Please see the 2018 results in the downloads box opposite. Radnor House does not release these results for comparison purposes outside of the school community so our results will not appear in national league tables.
"The students should be very proud of their achievements and I am delighted that the hard work of our outstanding teaching staff has been reflected in these superb grades." David Paton, Head.
